Pulse shaping of short wavelength femtosecond laser pulses by sum-frequency mixing of two broadband pulses

    Abstract

    We propose a new pulse shaping technique for femtosecond laser pulses around 400 nm. We used sum-frequency conversion of broadband shaped pulses in a 1 mm thick BBO employing a noncollinear angularly dispersion geometry.
