Abstract

Long, linear, shallow barium collections were observed on the surface of the gastric rugae on barium studies of the upper gastrointestinal tract in 12 patients. These abnormalities have been confirmed endoscopically to represent long, continuous linear erosions of the gastric mucosa due to erosive gastritis.
