Abstract

We studied radiological findings in 18 cases of superficial-type malignant lymphoma of the stomach chiefly from the standpoint of differential diagnosis from early gastric cancer. Granularity of mucosa, poor margined fine barium fleck, thickening of mucosal folds and multiple ulcer (scars) were thought to be characteristic. Furthermore, minute barium flecks and irregular linear shadows which sometimes consisted of reticular mucosal patterns were significant for the definite diagnosis of superficial-type malignant lymphoma of the stomach.
