Abstract
A new resonant dc/dc converter with Class DE oscillator is introduced, along with its analysis and experimental results. It consists of a Class DE power oscillator and a Class D transformer center-tapped rectifier. The Class DE oscillator ensures a low peak voltage across switches and can be smaller than conventional one because Class DE oscillator hasn't needed additional circuit to drive MOSFETs. Class D rectifier offers low switching losses and noise. The measured efficiency was over 80% at 2 MHz and 2.5 W.
