Abstract

A new control method of resonant dc/dc converter with Class DE inverter and Class E rectifier is proposed. We can easily regulate the output voltage or power with eliminating the diode voltage pulse on the rectifier at a constant rate while the operating frequency is fixed. We give an analysis, design equations and experimental results for the circuit. In the optimum operation, the measured dc/dc power conversion efficiency was over 80 percent at 1 MHz 2.2 W.
