Abstract

Forty-six saturated-liquid densities and bubble-point pressures of the binary system were measured by a magnetic densimeter coupled to a variable-volume cell. Results were obtained for four different concentrations of HCFC-22 (20,40,60 and 80 max%) and cover a temperature range from 280 to 400°K. The Hankinson-Brobst-Thomson equation has been discussed on the basis of the present measurements. Vapor-liquid equilibria have also been discussed, based on the Peng-Robinson equation of state.
