The automation of things has been further demanded due to various environmental changes such as declining birthrate, aging population, and declining labor force in recent years. Automation of processing is important in the manufacturing industry. The proposed servo grinder system is able to provide feedback to the servo motor based on various environmental conditions. Considering a nonlinear system that is strongly influenced by various environmental conditions, it can be extended to various machines, which will lead to further automation of things. In this paper, as an example of a non-linear system, coffee beans with various environmental parameters were the subject of the experiment, and an analysis was conducted for the purpose of building a grind model. As a result of the experiment, new properties of coffee beans were able to find. In the future, the accuracy of control of non-linear systems with various conditions will increase by analyzing the relationship between the processing conditions and particle size of coffee beans. It can also be applied to machine tool control by generalizing the constructed theory.
