Abstract

Based on an error analysis of experimental data conducted by the authors, a set of new skeleton tables is proposed for the pressure-volume-temperature (PVT) properties of water in the range of temperatures from 273 to 1123 K up to 1 GPa. The PVT surface generated by the proposed tables is quite plausible and represents reliable experimental data without any systematic deviations. The proposed skeleton table values are accompanied with confidence intervals which are evaluated rationally according to the analysis of experimental errors.
