Abstract
Simple analytical modelling for the thermodynamic properties of liquid water as well as the metastable-state water including supercooled and superheated water is proposed from the analysis of the precise density and sound velocity data. The singular thermodynamic behavior of water, the maximum density as an example, is clearly illustrated by this model.
