Study of the GI POF high speed link in a residential house to the present and for the future

Abstract

In this article, we are going to look back on our approaches to standardize the speed link for a residential house with GI-POF. As an illustration the need of the high speed link for a new construction house, and the case study of wiring with GI-POF into existing house will be also indicated. Additionally the development of one gigabit par second link with OptoLock® (Ultimate easy connection module), and then the development of the ultrafast speed link will be described. And after the explanation of radio frequency over POF system with PFP GI-POF(perfluorinated polymer based GI-POF), we will put forward suggestion on the future approaches for the POF world.
