Abstract

Novel organic solar cells have been prepared by the clusterization of fullerenes with porphyrin dendrimers and porphyrin-alkanethiolate protected-gold nanoparticles on SnO2 electrodes. These high order self-organized systems using gold nanoparticle and dendritic structure exhibit the remarkable enhancement of the photoelectrochemical properties relative to the reference systems.
