Abstract
We experienced a huge vascular-rich paraganglioma in the base of skull in the parapharyngeal space, and we removed the tumor by mandibular swing approach. After the operation, dysphagia due to the cranial nerve (IX, X, XI) paralysis had been developed, but it was improved by rehabilitation. 3D-CT angiography was useful for the simulation of the operation, which enabled us to know the positional relationship of the tumor to the neighboring vascular network.
