The implementation of remote shooting system for digital cinema

Abstract

This paper proposes a development of practical remote shooting system. This system realizes shooting scenes at multiple places in widely distributed environment, and provides the method of real time editing and high quality video/audio preview. This system enables real time editing and preview by synchronization video/audio streams sent by multiple places. We implemented remote shooting system for digital video, and evaluated it on experimental environment. Based on the results, it was proved that this system can be made fit for practical use.
