Abstract
This study gives experimental results for the thermal conductivity of N//2-CH//4 mixtures at 27. 5 degree C and up to 8 MPa. The results are extrapolated to zero density and analyzed in terms of the Monchick-Pereira-Mason theory. The agreement is excellent with one adjustment. The comparison also shows that the Hirschfelder-Eucken approximation gives acceptable results. At higher densities, good agreement is secured with the E. A. Mason et al. version of the Thorne-Enskog theory.
