Abstract

Four-wave mixing (FWM) measurements around the exciton resonance are performed on the bilayer compound (C6H13NH3)2(CH3NH3)Pb2I7 to study the third-order optical nonlinearity. The values of |χ(3)(-ω;ω,-ω,ω)| and dephasing energy at the exciton resonance are estimated to be 10-6 esu and 0.25 meV, respectively. The result of spectrally-resolved FWM in the cross-linearly polarized configuration shows that two-exciton state contributes to FWM signals for excitation below the exciton resonance.
