Abstract
This paper describes an experimental investigation aimed at development of a new fluidic flowmeter. The other purpose of this investigation is to try a unified approach to flow measuring devices based on the hydrodynamic oscillations with the fluidic flowmeter. Within the ten years of 1970's, several types of hydrodynamic oscillator flowmeters have been developed. These flowmeters produce a frequency output that is proportional to the volumetric flowrate as for the turbine or positive displacement meters, however, they have no moving parts.
