Abstract

We investigated the long-Term urinary symptoms and toxicity of 1-125 prostate brachytherapy with or without external beam radiotherapy. A total of 1,313 patients were evaluated. Neoadjuvant hormonal treatment was associated urinary toxicity, and dose was associated with urinary symptom flare, as well as International Prostate Symptom Score before treatment. After several years, most urinary symptoms resolved and long-Term urinary toxicity was very low.
