Abstract

In the Biometric Authentication using vein pattern, the precision of the emphasis of vein has a significant influence on the certification precision. Therefore making a proper filter for emphasizing the vein is important, but the problem associated with the realization of such a filter is very difficult. We decided to make the filter automatically using Genetic Algorithm which is one of the optimization processing. When processing Genetic Algorithm, we considered a filter as a gene and calculated the most suitable combination of the filters.
