Abstract

Velocity distributions of dilute air/solids suspension in an upward pipe flow were investigated, employing a laser Doppler anemometer, whose signal processor was modified for measuring a two-phase flow. Shifted profiles of turbulence intensity in a suspension flow were observed with the supplementary use of a hot wire anemometer and the result are presented. (from English abstract)
