Abstract

We demonstrated the wide luminance angular distribution liquid crystal display (LCD) with the surface diffusing system (SDS), on the basis of the novel multiple light scattering simulation for the single scattering layer film. Moreover, the color shift of the SDS-LCD was lower than that of a commercial LCD.
