Abstract

This chapter discusses about the overview and the usage of the Workshop Generator Patterns, which we present as a supporting tool for creating new values in a workshop. “Workshop generator” is a role taken by organizers to lead the work group through an inquiry process to create a new value. The role function as a facilitator who knows the process and supports the participants, as well as a leader who leads the group and involves into discussion, and think collaboratively in order to enhance collaboration within the group. Workshop Generator Patterns talk about what workshop generators should keep in mind and what to do during the workshop. In order to see how the patterns affect generators, we provided the patterns for the workshop generators who participated in workshops. From the result, we have found the possibility of its usage as a supporting tool and the improvements that could be made.
