抄録

A heuristic-based multilayer topology design scheme, the extended version of branch exchange with quality-of-service constraints (EBXCQ), was presented for IP photonic networks. By monitoring IP traffic loads, photonic MPLS routers were controlled to dynamically change the network configuration to efficiently utilize the network resources in a distributed manner. Numerical results to demonstrate the effectiveness of EBXCQ were presented.
