Recently, realizing an ubiquitous energy society is expected due to the development of wireless power transfer technologies. In an ubiquitous energy society, receiving energy with multiple frequencies is required because energy is transferred with multiple frequencies. A dual-mode wireless power transfer system is a system that realizes efficient power transfer with two different frequencies. Normally, these systems are used to transfer different kinds of information but few research consider transferring power with different frequencies at the same time. Therefore, this research clarifies theoretically and experimentally power can be transferred with two different frequencies for dual-mode wireless power transfer system using magnetic resonance. Voltage and power that occurs in receiver circuit when wireless power transfer is done by another two frequencies at the same time is discussed theoretically. Experiment is conducted to verify the theoretical calculation results. Experimental results show the good match with theoretical calculation.
