For the pulmonary malignancy that has emerged as the metastatic recurrence in the lungs or as the second primary lung cancer after surgery for a primary lung cancer, combined modality therapy including local therapy might be effective and provide longterm survival in selected cases. We incorporate cryoablation therapy and stereotactic radiotherapy as well as surgical resection for the malignant lesion in the lungs, and make use of the characteristic of each cure which is most suitable for every case.
