In the present paper, two kinds of entrance flows of magnetic fluids are analized by the finite difference method on the basis of the basic equations for magnetic fluids with internal rotation proposed by the authors. The values of magnetization are obtained not by the relaxation equation but by the constitutive equation of magnetization. Numerical solutions are obtained for parabolic and uniform profiles of axial velocity at the pipe inlet. The effects of some dimensionless parameters characterizing the magnetic fluid flow are discussed in detail. The results of this study seem to contribute to the miniaturization of magnetic fluid transmission lines by means of applied magnetic fields.
