N2 - By monitoring the time-trace of polarized scattering from colloidal gold nanoparticles, we could observe rotational dynamics as fluctuations in the measured anisotropy. With typical particle dimension of 49nm, maximum anisotropy and aspect ratio were determined. Polarized light scattering can be an ultrasensitive measure for biosensing applications.
