FDTD analysis of the collection efficiency and the spatial resolution of near-field metal-coated double-tapered probes

抄録

The metal-coated double-tapered probes were numerically calculated by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. Amount of the memory needed to perform the simulation can be decreased using the approximation. Results confirmed that the FDTD simulation with the perfect conductor approximation reproduced the experimental collection efficiency and spatial resolution of the metal-coated double-tapered probes.
