Nakatake et al. establish 714 transgene-inducible human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines and capture global transcriptome changes perturbed by the overexpression of these transgenes—mostly transcription factors (TFs). The analyses help in classifying TFs and identify sets of TFs that direct the differentiation of hESCs into distinct cell types.
