Transmission of phase-only spatial information corresponding to the computer generated hologram (CGH) of a 1D image through a single-mode optical fiber is demonstrated using coherence functions synthesis. This system is less sensitive to the optical nonlinearity during optical fiber propagation than that with ultrashort pulses.
