Inelastic quantum magnetotransport in a highly correlated two-dimensional electron liquid

抄録

We present new low temperature magnetoconductivity (σxx) measurements for the two-dimensional electron system on a liquid helium surface and the theoretical concept of the inelastic quantum magnetotransport that explains the data. It is shown that predictions for σxx made in the elastic approximation are valid only within a limited temperature range which narrows with the magnetic field increase. The temperature and magnetic field dependencies of σxx observed can be perfectly described as the interplay of the inelastic and many-electron effects.
