Light propagation in tissue and diffuse optical imaging of brain function

    Tissue scattering causes serious problems with diffuse optical imaging. The image reconstruction method using the spatial sensitivity profile, which is predicted by light propagation analysis in tissue model, improves the spatial resolution of the image.
