抄録

A negative ion photoelectron spectroscopic study on the solvation energies of an excess electron in the size-selected aromatic hydrocarbon nanoclusters was presented. The second solvation layer was essential for stable binding of the excess electron in these clusters. The applicability of the generalized cluster size equation was examined in the nondipolar aromatic hydrocarbon systems.
