Networked sensors for monitoring human behavior

This paper presents a networked sensor system for monitoring human daily behaviors in realtime. Monitoring human shape, motion, and behavior plays an important role in modeling humans and it is an essential component of Digital Human research. The authors have been developing sensorized environment that has hundreds of sensors and monitors human daily activities in realtime for developing human behavior models. This paper introduces the environment and its sensor systems. Applications in the environment are also presented briefly.
