N2 - We propose a real-time static voltage scaling (RT-SVS) technique called T-L plane transforming, which is an extension of LLREF, an optimal real-time scheduling algorithm for multiprocessor systems. We present two RT-SVS algorithms for different types of systems. The technique is theoretically optimal for the systems which can change the frequency of each processor separately. Evaluation results show that the technique successfully schedules periodic tasks and saves energy in the utilization where traditional algorithms can not guarantee the schedulability.
