In Japan, because of the serious damage by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, further disaster prevention measures are required. On the other hand, health damage occurring in houses is also regarded as a problem. There is a movement to define the ability to prevent / mitigate the damage occurring inside such houses as "resilience", and comprehensively evaluate this ability. It is hoped that residence with high resiliency will popular. However, the actual condition of residence resilience and its influence on residents are unclear. It is necessary to clarify actual conditions and to grasp current problems of residences. In this research, we conducted an Internet questionnaire to elucidate the resilience of Japanese residences and to evaluate the effect of residence resilience on residents' subjective well-being. This research aims to contribute to improvements in residence resilience.
