N2 - We propose a dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) algorithm with linear prediction in a remotely controlled 10-Gigabit-capable passive optical network (XG-PON). Simulation results show that the proposed DBA provides low-latency upstream communication compared to nonpredictive DBA.
