Molecular images of thiahelicene on gold single crystal surfaces were observed for the first time by scanning tunneling microscopy under high-vacuum condition at room temperature. The thiahelicene molecules took a quasi-ordered arrangement, in which the molecules were almost hexagonally packed with their molecular planes parallel to the suface. The interaction between the physisorbed thiahelicene and gold surface was rather weak.
