A report on the first photoenergy conversion system using supramolecular complexes of porphyrin dendrimers with fullerene by clusterization in a mixed solvent on nanostructured SnO2 electrodes was presented. It was demonstrated that the molecular assembly made it possible to control the three dimensional molecular structure, which is essential for photoenergy conversion. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image of (D8P 8+C60)m showed large clusters of diameter 200-300 nm with well controlled size and shape. The results showed that the dendritic structure plays an important role in controlling the formation of molecular structures.
