Virtual array composition for iterative AOA localization sharing snapshots of coherent subarrays

In this paper, we clarified how to compose the virtual array for the iterative AOA localization sharing snapshots of coherent subarrays. This method improves the localization accuracy without increasing antennas. Simulation results show that the composition based on the virtual element, Method 4, can estimate AOA more accurately, and performs asymptotically close to the conventional one using the more number of antennas.
