We propose a concept of the visible light communication (VLC) using two different polarized Digital Micro-mirror Device (DMD) projectors for seamless location services, and report its fundamental experiment using two linearly polarized lights orthogonal each other. Our experimental results show that our system enables two channels simultaneous VLC using the polarized DMD projectors as the illumination. The system has two polarized optical systems consisting of two DMDs, two photodiode detectors on the VLC receiver as the user interface with polarized filters. We consider that our experimental system will be applied to the position detection system using many DMDs for seamless navigation services in the future.
